‘Purple Shamrocks’ New Life for the New Year
Starting to look shabby
With the daylight getting shorter now I separated the root clumps & transplanted.
These were just three tiny ‘pips’ (¾” long) when first potted May 2017!
These are displayed on 6″ plates!
They will come back more uniform for 2019!
4th week in October and no frost yet 😉

(all those leaves fold down every night)
I keep cutting back the blooms this year to promote rhizome growth so I can break up the clumps and have twice as many plants next season❗️
Oxalis Triangularis (Purple Shamrocks)

My Oxalis Triangularis did well over summer!
I placed it on the porch in the morning & bought back inside when temperature got above 80° F.
I planted three ‘pips’ in May!
